Which Protein Powder is Right For Me?
Here at Noble, we like to keep things simple. We like to have as few ingredients as possible, ingredients you can actually pronounce, and we don’t like to cover up what we make with “blends”. We’ve stuck to Whey Protein Isolate for a few years and then decided to add a Vegan protein. Don’t worry, we don’t preach going meatless, we are definitely meat eaters! However, we’ve realized that allergies play a huge roll in protein powders.
If you’re new to the protein scene, you should first read our last blog “Why Supplement with Protein”. After you’ve realized WHY you should be supplementing, now it’s time to choose which one is right for you. There are a few things you should ask yourself:
- Do I have a whey intolerance? If you notice that you’re gassy, upset stomach, acne, etc. You might have whey intolerance. Whey is a byproduct of milk but don’t think you’re allergic to whey just because you’re allergic to dairy. They are two separate allergies and do not necessarily go hand in hand. If you said YES to this question, you’ll want to go with the Vegan Protein.
- Does Splenda upset my stomach? This goes along a similar line as above. Some people just prefer to use an all natural sweetener and that’s fine too. If Splenda upsets your stomach or you prefer a natural sweetener, you’ll want to buy the All Natural Protein OR the Vegan Protein.
- What Flavors do I like? To be honest, all of our protein taste great! If you’re well versed in the protein department, you already know if you’re a chocolate or vanilla drinker. If those are too boring for you, we have a couple of other options; Chocolate Peanut Butter (Vegan) and Cake Batter (Whey Protein Isolate)
If you’re still having trouble picking the right protein, we do have samples you can purchase to see which one you like best. Click here to order yours today!
